I drew my inspiration from the bright colours of the photograph (hence the super brights!). I also used the organza style ribbons as their colours and textures reminded me of beautiful Indian saris. I mounted the photo on brown cardstock as it reminded me of the bowls holding the spices (and looked much better with the colour palette than black did). I also thought the photo from our xmas holiday fitted with the 'on location' idea. Smile thanks for a great challenge. tfl. xox

Great take on the challenge!! And your b/ground c/s is nearly the colour of the bits either side on the chooks gallery and forum!!

I agree.. it is a great interpretation of the challenge. I love the way the black matting lifts the photo beautifully off that wonderfully bright background.
