oh.
my.
goodness...

december already? that means we're on the countdown to christmas! yikes! so, in the spirit of the season, i've got some chirstmassy/end-of-year themed challenges for you. never fear! i'm not asking you to scrap your christmas photos from last year (because they've all been done, right? Wink )...

CHALLENGE 1
everyone knows what the traditional christmas colours are - but this time i'd like to see some of the unofficial christmas colours - blue, white and silver.

CHALLENGE 2
in honour of the christmas star, let's make the gallery shine! glimmermist, glitter, bling... even dimensional magic as a top coat. nb: this is not an exhaustive list, nor do you have to use everything in this list... Wink

CHALLENGE 3
as a nod to wrapped presents, i'd like to see layering on a page - i'd like you to layer three different things - layering flowers or pp won't count this time - i'm thinking stamping, glimmermist and a rub-on. or a ghost shape, a leaf and a bling swirl. be inventive! see what combinations you can wow me with!

CHALLENGE 4
not hard to see how this one is related to the theme - i'd like to see you scrap a highlight of 2009.

CHALLENGE 5
PEACE

CHALLENGE 6
some of us follow ali edwards' blog. at the end of each year she asks her readers to think of a word for the next year - she'll be doing this again soon, i imagine. i'd like you to think of a word or a phrase that you'd like to apply to your life next year and use that as a prompt for a page. (you don't have to do ali's word-for-the-year thing... just humour me for this challenge... Wink )
if you'd like to know more, you can go here, or you can see some of 2009's words here.
just in case you're interested, my word is going to be wholehearted. yep. already decided.

Great challenges, I really like the idea of challenge #6. I think I may have to have a bit of retail therapy for Challenge #2 as I don't own any glimmermist yet Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad So I think I shall have to remedy this.

I went and checked the list for 2009, and I was completely gob-smacked. There must be more than 100 words on it!!! Amazing!
