Step 15

Take your flourish stamp and Vintage Photo ink or other brown ink and stamp the top left corner and bottom right corner of your frame as pictured - remembering to leave a space for the chipboard pieces to be adhered.

Step 16

Trim the remaining off cut from the wide frame pieces to a rectangle and adhere to the middle of the back of your wings. Trim one of the skinny off cuts to a rectangle and then cut it in half and put a piece in the middle of the back of each wing as pictured.

You can now adhere the wings to your canvas - use the finished picture for placement.

Step 17

Cut out a label from your elegant label sheet - this goes in the middle of the book plate so don't choose one that is too large. Inke the edges - I use vintage photo.

Place the label on your piece of material and trim around so the the material is a rough oval shape that is a bit bigger than the label.

Fray the edges of the material until you are happy with the way it looks.

When you are happy with the material - adhere in the middle of the book plate and then adhere the label to the middle of the material.

Step 18

Choose a word from your word sheet. Cut it out and adhere it to a left over piece of chipboard.

Trim the chipboard from around the word and ink the edges with Vintage Photo. (This raises the word from the background)
Adhere the word to the middle of the label.

Step 19

Adhere the two paper covered chipboard pieces to your frame as pictured - the small one at the top and the bigger one on the bottom.

Lastly glue on your buttons with a strong glue - eg pritt power gel or dimensional magic. If the buttons have a shank on them then cut it off.
Glue the butterflies on - adhering only their bodies and fold the wings up to give a 3D look. See completed project for placement of the buttons and butterflies.

Here is my original canvas - it's easier to see the placement on this one.
