Welcome to the Masterchook Kitchen! We look forward to seeing your tastiest dish - uh, i mean, your best work!

For your challenge this round, we have a Mystery Box for you - this is a challenge where you are given five ingredients, and you must incorporate these into your page.

This mystery box holds:
* no patterned paper
* paint
* circles
* at least 6 colours (we're talking different colours here - not light pink and dark pink!)
* lots of shiny things.

For inspiration, you can see some sample pages from

Lorraine

Sue-Maree

...Sue-Maree again...

Susan

and me.

Your kitchen time starts... now!

Good luck!

I watched Lorraine working on her sample on Wed night. It looks great with all the bling and flowers added.

Patterned paper - does that include embossed/textured paper/card or is it just printed paper?

textured cardstock is fine - although i'd probably say only embossed if you do it yourself... Wink i can check with the rest of the dt though...

Can I ask a couple of really silly questions (that I think I already know the answer to based on the DT layouts)?

Are we allowed to use things that are not on the list such as buttons, flowers, ribbon, felt etc?
Can we use ink as well as paint, ie ink the edges of card stock but have paint on the layout that is obvious?

Sorry if these are silly questions.

No PP? Shocked I think I could struggle a little with that but I'll do my best. I'm REALLY looking forward to this challenge. It's a fabulous mystery box!

emma, you can use as much stuff as you like - as long as the criteria listed are on your page.

please bear in mind that when you're uploading, it's really helpful if you point out the criteria - for this challenge please make sure you list your colours!

i should also point out that i used watercolours for my paint - for the blue of the butterflies - and crackle paint on the flower. you don't have to limit yourself to acrylic paint.
