My last holiday was to Melbourne in November but it was with My Niece and her Daughter and a friend for schoolies. My last holiday with DH was to the Hunter Valley just before Easter last year.

We always seem to be going somewhere but not for a holiday - But Watch Out WA we are heading that way in May

Monkey Mia will be beautiful at that time Jo (as you already have experienced!) If you need a bed when you're down this way, we have a spare room - you'd be very welcome Smile

It was last year in San Diego for Comic con. It didnt 'feel' like a holiday as it wasnt very relaxing for me (DH booked a hotel in a 'bad' area without realizing-and he waited too long so what was left wasnt great) so while they were at the convention downtown I was in the room all day. Gang/boarder mexico area-so one doesnt walk anywhere alone.

Amazing food though at the local mexican place and I did hang out downtown one day while they were there.

Sounds like a great holiday Sally. My last one was Thailand in November last year. Hoping to go to Melbourne in July this year.

Does the retreat count?

Otherwise it would be Esperance and Woody Island last June / July.

The retreat counts but I still wish it was Saturday - it's definitely not long enough.
