Decoration No. 1

Requirements:

Double sided paper
2 Brads
Embroidery Thread

Instructions:

1. Cut 10 pieces of patterned paper 1.5 cms x 10 cms.
2. Punch a tiny hole in both ends of all the paper about .75 cm in from the end. I stacked all 10 pieces together and punched them all at once with my punch.
3. Stack all 10 pieces of top of one another and put a brad through all thickness of the paper, both ends.
4. Now comes the fun part, separate about 5 pieces of the pp and twist them around to form a circle. Carefully seperate all the pieces of paper until you have your bauble.
5. Twist a piece of embroidery thread around one of the brads and knot to top.

This one is made out of single sided pp. Not quite as effective as using the DS paper.

Decoration No. 3

Requirements:

Double sided patterned paper
2 brads
20 cms ribbon
Double sided foam tape

Instructions

1. Cut 8 pieces of patterned paper 2 cms x 10 cms.

5. In the centre of the bauble adhere a small square of DS Foam, flatten your bauble by adhering its together, it now becomes a star.

I'm hoping to make some for my color co-ordinated tree. Might slip some in with gifts too.

We now have 3 very beautiful baubles hanging in front of our fireplace... The children wanted to keep going and make the other two decorations but I suggested we leave that until next weekend.

They look great Jan - thanks. and, apart from having to fix the odd tear resulting from and over eager four year old, the making went smoothly Very Happy Very Happy
