Description: I cheated a bit by using a silhouette of a person cut from MM Slice and the ovals are cut using Spellbinder Nestabilities die-cuts in my Epic 6. The b'ground stamp reminded me of wallpaper so made it like a picture on the wall. It is actually straight, I just had it crooked in the scanner.

Ch 2 - my one layer card

Description: I mucked up the stamping and embossing of the 'lace' across it and it was hard but fun trying to keep it to the one layer. The doily and 'lace' stamps are from a Kaisercraft set, Tea at Elsie's.

Description: Very different colours from what I usually use but orange was one of DS's favourite colours at one time. I cut the orange hippo from behind the photo. Used a Maya Road mini tree from the shop and my new MS punch.

Description: When we arranged for the tree near our patio to be chopped down we knew it would be a loss of shade in summer but it also means we will lose all tho leaves clogging up the gutters and the shade that keeps the sun off the house in winter but it means the house is warmer in winter and we don't need to light the fire so often. Next year we'll have the wood to burn on the nights when we do need a fire. Description: I went with the colours of red and green on a white background. I kept it all simple (tacos are a relatively simple meal) and the baubles sort of reminded me of the shape of tacos. I stamped the journalling block in brown for the meat.

Description: My b'ground pp is BG, I made the butterfly, diamonds are in the pp at the top and bottom, I have used turquoise/aqua and cream/yellow with just a little bit of white in the title (I sprayed the doily with Antique Bronze to lessen the white) and there is some string in the button in the centre of the bottom flower.

Description: I used an old Stuck? sketch, 2 stars and green and russet/red, quite appropriate as it turned out the photo was taken on Christmas Eve. I adapted the Pussycat, pussycat rhyme to fit Moosey's visit. Rather than chasing any mice under the chair he sat in the high chair, just like one of the g'kids!! (Nothing like mixing the challenges together!)

Description: My first LO of this gorgeous little fellow. Clear things - journalling block, buttons and droplets, stamping - all the dragonflies and the bits above and below the photo, swirls/flourishes - the dragonfly antennae, above and below the photo and on the journalling block, bling - alphas for title and some stickles in the centre of stamps above and below the photo, and 1 piece of pp no bigger than 6"x4" - I cut mine into 2 pieces and punched one edge of each. The ribbon is from the RAK that Julie sent me for my b'day and seemed perfect for this LO.

Description: I don't know how old this is but Gt-G'father died in 1926. Nana used it to store fabric which is still in there. The colour is a bit washed out because of the flashon DD's camera as my camera needed it's batteries charging.

Description: My take on the challenge using old photos of DD. The swing she was on is the one that now features in some of anna's LOs with her girls! I stamped the flourish in white which didn't show up so embossed it with some iridescent emb powder. the title and journalling block were both cut on my new toy and glimmermisted.

Description: This started out as a monthly card challenge but I decided to use it here since I hadn't got far with it before. The button is from Nana's old tin and fits with the vintage theme with its cracks, etc. my script stamp is one I hadn't used before and I masked areas off to stamp in different directions.

Description: When I saw the photo from which we had to draw inspiration I wondered what we had that might inspire me. While doing my Bible study one day I thought about the sticker I had on my first car which read 'Find buried treasure, read the Bible' and also a song a choir I was in called 'Wise Men Still Adore Him', and an ornament which says 'wise men still seek Him'. Once I had my photo I found the striped pp and while looking for something else to use found the striped vellum which when place across the pp reminded me of a cotton shirt I had many years ago (when anna was a baby).

Description: My challenge to the Creative Chooks was to use:- diamond - on my pp, something you haven't used for ages - mulberry paper, my fancy edge scissors and the alpha stamps for 'presenting', and a stamped image that has been cut out - the flower which I stamped 3 times and layered the sections. I also used some rub-ons which anna didn't want anymore.

Description: I thought this was going to look like a dog's breakfast after doing the glimmermisting but I'm quite happy how it turned out!! No pp - check Paint - is some old fabric paint behind the photos Circles - I placed some punched circles on the background and glimmermisted over them and the large brad is a circle, too. at least 6 colours - yellow, maroon, brown, purple, green, black and white shiny things - the paint has a shine, the title is glitter thickers, and glimmermist.

Description: My criteria was bling, paint, shredded edges and some blue paper. I have used some old fabric paint on the flowers and leaves, bling (alphas and glimmermist), distressed edges (on the floral pp) and blue paper (blue pp with white polka dots and blue flowers on the other).
