Description: A rare pic of my DH, in his own world. The clarinet is his passion. He's quite good too. ;) If you ask my kids what are the most important things in his life, they will answer 3rd place - chocolate, 2nd - coffee, 1st - clarinet. His family? Apparently further down the list. LOL For my inspiration, I couldn't go past the stripy feature wall. I used my Martha Stewart Scoreboard and scored at 1/4inch lines across a square piece of white cardstock. I then very gently wiped a super inky black ink pad across it and a then grey one. The quote is from a Rachel Grieg stamp set. Once I got this far, I just couldn't do anything else to it. Yes, under-embellished and super clean & simple but I think it's totally complete. Thank for looking. :)

Description: I have used a SW song title as my title, and my gold embellishments are the eyelets (that i found in the bottom of a drawer) at the top of the page with the twine woven through. I have covered some cardstock with musical tissue tape and cut out a couple of hearts, and have used some pages out of an old book to make a flower.

Description: Here's my take on the Living Room challenge. I drew from the inspiration challenge with, obviously, the colour scheme, then the block of grey up the centre is take from the wall in the photo that draws the eye in, the blingy bits drawing on the 'bright' feel of the image and the eclectic collection of bits reminiscent of the range of textures and shades in the photo (very much a scrap-stash busting layout - stuff from Head over heels, My Mind's Eye, Prima, Green Tara, Echo Park, Collections, Bella, Kaisercraft, Carolee Creations and even a squirt of Mr Huey's spray to make a black flower!).

Description: I took this from the perspective of my being a mother. The flowers and butterfly are from a stamp/diecut set Sue-Maree gave me for Mother's Day, so I really wanted to include them on this page. They were fun to use and I'm pleased with the result.

Description: My Round 2. Inspiration came from the colours in the picture. The B/G is stamped to reflect the print on the wall. The Hambley overlay is striped vertically to reflect the lines in the floor rug. There are circle shapes in my cluster to reflect some patterns on the cushion and the bowl shape. A couple of the flowers here reflect the texture of the floor rug. The bling reflects all the blingy bits in the picture. Hopefully I have it covered! TFL

Description: Kaiser paper for the base and bling swirl. Twinkling paints on the chipboard, a blue with a layer of white over the top. Prima flower. Ribbon purchased at a market Colca Canyon in Peru. Picture of the access points for the Nazca aquaducts in Peru, they still serve the town and have done so for an estimated 2000 years.

Description: Our living room didn't suit a black and white colour scheme so I went with two other colours, blue and brown, and limited myself to those. Then I took inspiration from the page design, though flipped it. So the photo is the back lounge, the brown pp (slightly stripy) is the curtains, the flourish and accent on it is the lamp, the little flower accent on the other side is the second lounge, the stamped ticket is the coffee table, the blue pp at the top is the cabinet, the title is the picture on the wall and the subtitle reflects the collection of things at the right of the image.

Description: The former security office 21 is in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. It is estimated that between 14,000 and 20,000 people were imprisoned/passed through the "offices". May they Rest In Peace. White card stock, the paint is Kaisercolour "Scarlet", material flower by Prima "Poppy Flowers". Martha Stewart punch.

Description: Light and bright - as much as I could with the photos, White paint - Picket Fence Distress Crackly paint applied with the (wrong) end of a paint brush around the edge of the page, and fabric - Tony's tie reminded me of some fabric I had so used some of it to make one of the flowers. The leaves are also cut from fabric and edged with Fray Stoppa so they won't fray.

(a while ago) You may not be able to see it clearly but my daughter is actually chasing a bubble which is at the top of the photo. A very lucky shot!

Description: Here's my attempt - finally got to it. I hope it's bright and light enough - best I can do. I have had this material pocket sitting in my stash for a while waiting to use it so glad it finally got on a LO. Also had fun using my new cog stencil to get the white paint aspect to the background. My decorating has begun using mainly simple strories brand and new dusty attic chip and of course some T!m.

Description: My daughter wasn't too sure about the beach - the sand, crashing waves etc :) The white paint is distress crackle on the two hearts and the fabric is the flower and the ribbon. I'd like to think its light and bright :) Can't wait for the next one!

Description: Sorry my photomerging skills are not great yet....but you get the idea :D I used white paint to lighten up the edges of the journalling block, red farbic underneath the flower chippy and (mostly)light, bright colours.
