Simple Easter Card Using Washi Tape

Last weekend I made these simple cards with girls who came along to the Kids Kraft. They are quick and easy and I thought some of you would be interested in giving them a go.

Materials:

  • plain card base
  • a piece of white card cut to 10cms x 14.5cms
  • three different washi tapes
  • twine or ribbon and two small flowers in colours that match your washi tape
  • sentiment stamp or sticker
  • oval cutter
  • ink and adhesive

Firstly cut an oval shape in the middle of your 10 x 14.5 piece of white card

Next add strips of washi tape to the front of your blank card.

Ink the edges of your piece of white card that has the oval cut out from it and add twine around the bottom as shown in the finished picture. Adhere this to the front of the blank card over the washi tape. Add your sentiment and flowers.

I had so much fun making mine I made another one using different colours.

I hope you find time to give this a go and don’t forget to share your creations by either putting a link in the comments or uploading to our gallery.

Keep crafting every day!
